There are so many things to do during Schoolies Week; the list can truly seem endless. The available activities will vary depending on your location, so it’s best to know what kind of activities you are interested in before you choose your destination.
Along with your standard partying, dancing and lounging pool side, the following can be expected from the following Schoolies experiences offered through Schoolies Club:
Gold Coast – take a trip out to one of the famous theme parks (Dream World, Movie World, White Water World, Sea World or Wet N Wild), play mini golf, lap up the sun and waves at a number of pristine beaches, shop till you drop at a variety of famous shopping malls, take a day trip to Brisbane, or go for a ride on the Aquaduck.
Byron Bay – enjoy the stunning surrounds by taking a mountain bike tour around the area, surf some of Australia’s favourite waves, relax with some yoga on the beach, take a kayak trip or go diving or skydiving for an unforgettable experience. Hit the beach or the bars and clubs at night to make your schoolies trip even more awesome.
Vanuatu – Check out the amazing crystal clear tropical beaches during the day and head to one of the 8 nightclubs and bars in town at night. See the world famous cascades, the active volcano, go zip lining, abseiling, jet-skiing, zorbing, horse riding, scuba diving, joy flights in helicopters and sea planes… This is really the ultimate schoolies destination when it comes to things to do! Best of all, it’s all quite safe, and you will be amongst some of the friendliest locals you will ever meet… Just one of the reasons that Vanuatu has been labeled as “The Happiest Place on Earth”
Bali–check out Monkey Forest, have your mind blown by the Kuta nightlife, sip fresh fruit juice on Dreamland Beach, treat yourself to a (cheap!) massage at one of the many day spas, venture to Waterbom Park, snorkel some beautiful underwater life, or go crazy at the markets. Yes, there are scooters for hire – but let’s not go nuts!
